Wider range of UV laser products available
Industrial laser solutions company Laserax has launched a new line of UV lasers offering a wide power range and full ultrafast pulse capabilities.
The new UV laser line features the Linear UV laser system and certified Class 1 workstations, to complement the company’s portfolio. Following its acquisition of DPSS Lasers, Laserax says it now delivers complete inline systems that combine UV technology with full automation designed to deliver seamless, integrated workflows.
The company explains that the expansion aims to unlock new opportunities in medical device manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductors, electronics, and automotive sectors. With ultrahigh precision, nano-to-femtosecond pulse durations, and minimal heat-affected zones, the UV lasers offer versatility for micro-processing delicate, heat-sensitive materials including plastics, glass, ceramics, metals, printed circuit boards and coated surfaces.
The Linear UV Laser System is said to deliver speed, on-the-fly marking, and flexibility for demanding applications such as medical device micromachining, plastic marking, semiconductor cleaning, and glass cutting.
Laserax notes that its turnkey UV solutions also maintain class 1 safety certification, ensuring operator protection and regulatory compliance.
